Really poor customer service. Order arrived poorly packaged and broken in multiple pieces. Had to reach out to the seller twice over a week apart before she even bothered to respond to me. Was hoping to come to some sort of resolution… her advice to me was to just send them back (at my expense with no compensation on the original purchase) I will never purchase from this shop again or recommend anyone else do so. Unfortunately a really disappointing experience.

I was on the search for two sewing books and Vintage Bookworms had both. The other book was 1963 McCall’s Needlework Treasury. Despite the age, the condition was good – previous owner(s) took great care so that future generations could appreciate the useful information it provides to anyone into sewing/hand stitch. Vintage Bookworms wrapped each book in old world maps tied with jute twine. That alone was so lovely.. Thank you! In the age of digital books…..seeing this and the care in packaging is very much appreciated.

Love love love!! Old Nancy Drew books are my favourite and when I saw these I knew I had to have them. When I expressed interest in these books Claire really went the extra mile to make sure I was able to purchase them before anyone else and then shipped them so promptly! One of the worries with mailing old books is the dangers of shipping but these arrived in perfect condition for ’30s and ’40s editions – it’s clear Claire thought about that when packaging them for their long journey to me. 🙂 She has a great eye for vintage finds and overall I had such a pleasant experience.
